We are a patient advocacy resource
providing information regarding post mastectomy, post lumpectomy, post
radiation therapy, post pelvic surgery and lower extremity lymphedema
treatment.
Lymphedema products are a recognized treatment for post mastectomy and related
types of lymphedema by Medicare and most major medical insurance carriers.
As your advocate, we will work on behalf of you and your physician with your
insurance case manager to make certain that you receive all medical benefits for
which you are entitled. Lymphedema
products may only be dispensed by order of your
physician.
After you and your physician have decided that at home treatment using a
lymphedema therapy is best for you, call us. We are experts regarding the different
documentation and claim submission requirements for Medicare and major medical
insurance carriers. As your advocate, we will call your insurance carrier and
verify your benefits. Next we will prepare and provide all relevant
documentation necessary for your physician to order your home lymphedema therapy and for
you to obtain reimbursement. We will also take care of all claim forms, process
and submit your claim for you.
